Coming up with a design is a necessary and exciting first step in your building process! Bring us your own ready-to-build plan or collaborate with EquityQuest Homes to create something unique that fits your family's needs. The more information you have gathered when this process begins, the easier it will be to incorporate those desires into your dream home.

EquityQuest does not have a group of “Stock” plans our customers select from. Our customers can bring us plans drawn by other design professionals or we work with them to design their own one-of-a-kind custom plan.

Some customers bring us pieces of different plans that have inspired them and we integrate into one-of-a kind dream plans. Others will bring memories of a plan from their past they want to recreate and we make those memories come to life. Other people have very tight space constraints, and we work to maximize their home or even an ADU to fit their available space. And we always make sure we take views and landscapes into account!

Some fundamental items to think through when dreaming of your ADU or Cottage design:

Once your design, specifications and decisions are finalized and a design-build contract is signed, our network of licensed engineers and structural specialists take your one-of-a-kind design and devise the methods we will use to build an efficient, sturdy, and durable one-of-a-kind structure. Their notes, drawings and details are compiled and added to your design to become the final build-set of plans.
